Reference hardness test blocks

MTR-MET, MTSR-MET

MTB-MET

MTV-MET

MTSh-MET
Centre "MET" produces and sells the following types of reference hardness test blocks:
- MTR-MET: Rockwell (HRA, HRB, HRC)
- MTSR-MET: Superficial Rockwell (HRN, HRT)
- MTB-MET: Brinellÿ (HB)
- MTV-MET: Vickers (HV)
- MTSh-MET: Shore (HSD)
Advantages
- minimum dispersion in the hardness readings along the surface;
- long-term stability;
- manufacturing based the individual order (on all scales and hardness range);
- delivery by piece and in sets (GOST 9031).
Certification
Reference hardness test blocks of MET series of MTR and MTSR type, MTB, MTV and MTSh have been introduced into the State Register of Measuring Equipment, there are certificates of approval for measuring equipment types No. 23945, No.23947, No.23946, No.23944 respectively.
The license for production No.000087-IR was issued by the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology.
Metrological provision
Reference hardness test blocks of MET series are measuring equipment which is subject to mandatory verification. The primary verification is performed by FGUP "VNIIFTRI", by the main centre for hardness standards of Russia.
Periodic verification is performed by the State Metrological Service body having official permission to carry out verification of measuring equipment. The time period between verifications is 2 years.
Marking
On the side surface of hardness reference test blocks there is the following information:
- manufacture’s logo (Centre MET);
- month of verification;
- test block number given to it by the state metrological service body which conducted the primary verification (FGUP "VNIIFTRI");
- hardness value with the indication of hardness scale (GOST 9031).
In the right lower corner of the working surface there is mark of certification belonging to FGUP "VNIIFTRI".
